Privacy & your saved plan
This first version does not ask for an account, email address or payment details. Itineray does not process bookings; external providers handle bookings under their own terms and privacy policies.
Browser storage
Pressing Save stores your itinerary preferences and optional first sightseeing date in this browser’s local storage under itineray.saved-plan. It stays there until you clear site data. It is not synchronized between devices. Download creates a text file on your device.
Shared links
Copy link includes your selected days, pace, interests and optional date in the URL. Anyone you share it with can see those choices. URLs may also appear in browser history and hosting request logs.
External services
The hosting service may process technical request information needed to serve and secure the site. Google Fonts receives requests to load the typefaces used on this site. Following map or booking links takes you to a third party that may use its own cookies and tracking. Affiliate links, if enabled, can include referral attribution. Hotel links pass through Stay22 (stay22.com), which records the click to attribute bookings and then forwards you to a booking site such as Booking.com or Expedia.
Hotel dates
If you choose a first sightseeing date, the hotel link you click includes check-in and check-out dates (the day before your first full day and the day after your last) so the booking site can show availability. The dates are added only at the moment you click, and they are not sent to Google Analytics.
Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to measure page visits, generated itineraries, save/download/print/share actions, and clicks to external booking providers. The Google tag loads only after you choose Allow analytics. If you decline, the planner still works and we do not load the analytics tag.
Google Analytics can process cookie identifiers, technical browser and device information, approximate geography, referring website and usage events. We disable advertising storage, Google signals and ad personalization. Our custom events include only a destination, trip length, pace, interest category, action or booking-link placement. We exclude optional travel dates and URL query strings from analytics page addresses and send only the referring website’s origin. We do not send your saved itinerary, email address or payment details to Analytics.
Your choice is stored locally under itineray.analytics-consent.v1. Use Analytics settings in the footer to change it. Withdrawing permission stops our analytics tracking, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this domain and reloads the page to unload the tag. Browser settings and blockers may also prevent measurement.
